Summary/Overview:

The Neighbourhood Initiatives Foundation offers training on a variety of topics including the use of the Foundation’s ‘Planning for Real’™ methodology. Other subjects include ‘Theatre as a Tool for Community Participation’, ‘Engaging Communities in Planning and Decision Making’, ‘Developing a Community Newsletter’, ‘Facilitation Skills
Community Research Skills’, ‘Participatory Appraisal’, ‘How to be a Community Representative’ and ‘An Introduction to Business Planning’.

Courses are both given as standard and in house options. There are a limited number of bursaries on each course for unfunded groups or individuals as well as a discounted rate for charities.
