The Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) describes itself as an independent think-doing organisation involved in regeneration, local economic development and local governance. It is a charity and consists of a network of subscribing organisations.

CLES provides training for people working in regeneration. Course topics include evaluation, project management and community engagement.

Courses are held across the UK throughout the year and there are special prices available for charities and voluntary groups. Courses are usually one day and can be delivered bespoke to suit the needs of individual organisations.
