The Institute for Volunteering Research is an initiative of Volunteering England in association with the Centre for Institutional Studies at the University of East London.
It aims to carry out research on volunteering,  disseminate the findings of such research and develop links with other organisations involved in volunteering research.

The site provides an overview of the work of the Institute as well as detailed summaries of research that it has undertaken.
