Summary/Overview:
The Participatory Budgeting website aims to share information about participative ways of budgeting and spending public money a well as to “strengthen the links between communities engaged in discussing local budgets, within the UK and around the world.”
The site is clearly designed and although the content is quite limited, the information that is featured is written in an accessible style and presented in a clear format.
International sites are included in the links section, which provides an interesting perspective on participatory budgeting initiatives worldwide. Some more detail about participatory budgeting, and some of the centre’s projects would be a welcome addition to this competent, but limited site.
