Summary/Overview:

Participation.net is a site with a global view on participation, focusing particularly on development, citizenship, governance and rights. The site is well-designed and simple to use. Its main feature is a large, easy to use searchable resource bank. It also provides access to events guides, as well as topic guides, links to newsletters and to other organisations.

The site provides a good, brief introduction to current thinking around participation, citizenship, rights and learning in a development context.

Up to date information is featured in the ‘what’s new’ section – allowing users to see a useful quick overview of new articles and resources.
