Overall Star rating:

3.0 stars

Summary/Overview:

The IAF Methods Database is a site is dedicated to providing information on "online and face-to-face tools for creating, leading and following up group meetings”.

The site contains a lot of useful content for experienced facilitators, including a database of facilitation methods and to a free e-news letter. There are also online forums. Some of the site’s content is only available if you register.

Because the content on the site has been posted by site users the quality of the writing varies and the site is really most useful to relatively experienced facilitators looking for inspiration for how to run meetings in new and interesting ways. For inexperienced facilitators it can be hard to find the material you need amongst the many methods posted.
