Together We Can is led by Communities and Local Government, the Together We Can site is located on the VOICE platform (VOICE terms and conditions) and is part of the DirectGov site (DirectGov terms and conditions). When using the term Together We Can we refer to these partners plus any external partners we may be working with to develop the site.
Your use of the Together We Can site constitutes your acceptance of the terms of the partners mentioned above and the conditions below. Together We Can reserves the right to change the contents of this page at any time without notice. You are responsible for checking the existence of any such changes. Whether you have checked for such changes or not, your use of the Together We Can site after such changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.
Together We Can reserves the right to suspend or withdraw all or any part of the site at any time without notice and shall not be liable to you in the event that all or any part of the site is discontinued, modified or changed in any way.
Liability for content
Together We Can endeavours to ensure that the information published on the site (but excluding the Resource Centre - see below) is accurate. The information on the Together We Can site is, however, provided "as is" and on an "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranty in relation to the accuracy, availability or completeness of the content and you rely on the information on the Together We Can site at your own risk.
Resource Centre
The information provided in the resource is part of the ongoing Audit of Community Empowerment Resources, carried out on behalf of Communities and Local Government by the organisation Involve. While every effort is made to ensure its accuracy Together We Can is not responsible for the information provided in this section of the site and information provided here does not necessarily represent the views of Together We Can. Moderation Policy
You must register with the Together We Can site in order to be able to add ratings and comments. By registering with this site you agree to abide by the following rules
- Don’t swear, use hate-speech or make obscene or vulgar comments.
- Don’t incite hatred on the basis of race, religion, gender, nationality or sexuality or other personal characteristic.
- Don’t break the law. This includes libel, condoning illegal activity and contempt of court (comments which might affect the outcome of an approaching court case).
- Don’t engage in “spamming”. Please don’t add the same comment in more than one place.
- Don’t advertise. You can mention relevant products and services as long as they support your comment.
- Don’t impersonate or falsely claim to represent a person or organisation. Please don’t mislead other users by abusing our registration procedure.
- Don’t post in a language other than English, all posts are moderated and we do not have the facility for translation at present.
- Don’t invade people’s privacy. Please don’t post private addresses, phone numbers, email addresses or other online contact details.
- Stay on-topic. Please don’t post comments that are unrelated.
- Don’t be party political – this site is a government site for signposting useful information and resources therefore comments used for party political purposes will be removed.
If a comment contravenes these rules it will not be published. The participant will be able to make appropriate changes in order that the comment can be reconsidered. However, if a participant repeatedly breaks the rules that participant’s user account will be suspended and may be permanently revoked.
Virus protection
We make every effort to check and test material at all stages of production. It is always wise for you to run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from the Internet. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material the Together We Can website.
